Lobster Roll |
I remember the first time I went to Blue Fin- it was years ago when I was still in high school. My girlfriend and I were visiting New York City and my grandmother took us here for a pre-theatre dinner. I remember the awe of being in a fancy, modern restaurant in The Big City. So when I was going to see a show with my grandmother, The Mr, and my parents, I decided this would be a great place to revisit. Smack dab in the heart of Times Square, the location is perfect for a lot of theaters.
The Mr ordered the Lobster Roll and said it was great (for $26 it better be!). My grandmother ordered her usual dish, the Sesame Crusted Bigeye Tuna served over vegetables and lo-mein noodles with ginger-soy sauce.

I ordered the Grilled Mediterranean Branzino served over artichokes barigoule, saffron potatoes, and italian salsa verde.

I'm happy to report that the ambiance is still impressive even to a now semi-jaded New York resident. The service is absolutely top notch and the food is great, which all add up to make this a great pre-theatre pick, which is why this has been a go-to for my grandmother for many, many years.
