I had always hoped to come to
Crif Dogs one night in order to go to PDT via the phone booth and for that reason, it had never occurred to me to just...go to Crif Dogs itself. So when my friend suggested we go there for brunch I was thoroughly thrown off. But I'm a flexible person, so we hopped in a cab.
I was just getting used to the idea of skipping having 'breakfasty' food and going straight to lunch when I spied the jon-jon deragon on the menu. A hot dog with cream cheese, scallions, and everything bagel seasoning? Yes, please.

It sounds weird, but something told me to go for it, and I am soooooo glad I did. Delicious! My friend was very jealous with his boring old chili dog (although, he assures me that it was in reality, anything but boring). Don't underestimate this place as a stand along destination like I did, it is well worth the trip!
